How it started
POP Origin Story
Hi! I'm Ashley René. I love technology, but I love people more. Over the past decade I've watched screens suck the life out of us and reshape how we live and interact with one another.
I started Presence Over Pixels (POP) because I believe in humanity, and all its beautiful messiness. If we continue to allow technology to guide our every move, we risk losing some of the most beautiful parts that make us human.
I am on a mission to change our relationship with our devices so we can experience a more fulfilled life, both through personally enriching experiences and meaningful experiences with others.

What I offer
Digital Wellness That Actually Works
There are a ton of digital wellness apps. For some people, they work. I offer something different. I help individuals, couples, families, and organizations take back control of their tech habits through personalized digital wellness plans, courses, experiences, and speaking. My approach blends evidence-based research with hands-on strategies I’ve created and tested in real life.
I offer a more human approach to digital wellness and connection. I aim for the root cause.

The result? Less stress, more focus, and stronger relationships that thrive offline.

Being Present is Being Free
At POP, the mission is simple:
Help people log off, look up, and reconnect with what really matters.
The good stuff happens offline. The good stuff happens when we’re present. I’m here to help you experience more good stuff.
